Our interpretation of Bavarian cuisine brings nature to the table
We live in the Bavarian Forest. And you can taste it, because our cuisine is a genuine invitation. We transform what the forest, the meadows, and our regional suppliers have to offer into dishes that you can only get here. The best of Bavarian cuisine, in fact.
Our culinary promise: the menu at Eibl-Brunner features dishes that are sure to impress. Because here you can look forward to authentic cuisine from our region. What the Bavarian Forest has to offer is put on the plate – interpreted in a modern way, with respect for the ingredients, and the signature of our chef Aftab Khan.

Genuine. Seasonal. Local.
We honour our traditions – both at the table and in life. That’s why you’ll find traditional flavours such as bay leaf and juniper, classics like Grandma Brunner’s liver dumpling soup, and the very best from the Bavarian Forest. But we also like to think outside the box: fine fish, international touches, and dishes that surprise without making you forget their roots.
Our motto? Traditional Bavarian delicacies, with a modern and contemporary twist. For the whole family.

Hunting has always been an integral part of our family tradition. Experiencing game in its natural habitat and using it in our kitchen with care and respect is something we hold dear – and an expression of our genuine appreciation. A cycle that has been part of our lives for generations.
That is why our menus regularly feature game dishes from our own hunt. From the forest to the plate, we’re guided by the principle of using the animal in its entirety: with care, craftsmanship, and respect for what nature provides us with. Our connection with nature doesn’t end at the edge of the forest – it continues in our kitchen.

hotel in Germany – by choice
With us, everyone eats the way that suits them. As a result, vegan and vegetarian dishes are not a compromise or a trend for us, but play a leading role on the menu. In our gluten-free hotel in Germany, you can also enjoy gluten- and lactose-free dishes – this is a matter of course for our chef Aftab Khan. Just let us know before you arrive.

Our menu changes with the seasons. Light herb cuisine in spring, light dishes in summer, game and mushrooms in autumn, and hearty delicacies that warm you from the inside in winter. Not because cooking with seasonal produce is currently in vogue, but because it makes no sense to go against nature.
